Throughout its history of establishment for over a century, the Royal Brunei Police Force has recorded various noble progress and successes, especially in the aspect of human development. In line with Wawasan Brunei 2035, the leadership of the personnel continues to strengthen its development strategy by producing knowledgeable, highly skilled and competitive personnel, aligned with the times and current challenges. Speaking at the 105th Police Day Celebration Ceremony, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Muhammad Juanda bin Haji Abdul Rashid, Minister of Development, said leadership in the national security institution is not just about managing current operations, but requires the ability to lead by example, integrity and wisdom. The ceremony was held at the Main Parade Ground, Gadong Police Training Centre.
The Minister said that this vision requires us to continue to form transparent human capital and educated as well as quality team members to continue to be prepared to overcome challenges in professionalism in order to achieve the success of the vision that we all desire.
The ceremony ran concurrently with the presentation of certificates to officers and personnel of the Human Trafficking Investigation Unit, Criminal Investigation Department, Women and Child Abuse Criminal Investigation Unit, Criminal Investigation Department, Belait Police District. The awards were in recognition of officers and personnel who show dedication and commitment in carrying out their responsibilities as personnel of the Royal Brunei Police Force.
